BUPA schedules

BUPA schedules

BUPA has three schedule types which affect the rebate:
  1. BUPA Known Gap, which allows a gap of up to $500
  2. BUPA No Gap, which pays a higher rebate but doesn't allow any gap
  3. MBS only, used for facilities where gap scheme rebates do not apply.
Providers can vary which BUPA schedule to use from facility to facility, so each facility that the provider works at must be setup correctly in the Facilities database. Go to the page for the relevant facility and select the appropriate setting from from the dropdown list. When you next select that facility for a patient insured with BUPA, the software will calculate fees with the appropriate rebates.

On the Provider Settings > Online page you can set the default value to use when creating new facilities.
NOTE: This doesn't overwrite the settings on existing facilities.
