Clearing the cache

From time to time your browser may have 'old' information in it, which needs to be cleared. This may cause problems logging in to Cutting Edge. Additionally, your browser may save entered details such as credit card details that can lead to problems taking payments on subsequent invoices.

The procedure to clear the cache on browsers varies according to the type of browser you re using.  Please contact support@cesoft.com.au if you require further assistance.


Google Chrome

For our recommended browser, Google Chrome, the procedure is as follows:

  1. Click the three vertical buttons in the top right:


  2. From the drop down list that opens, select "Settings"


  3. On the left of the new tab that opens, click "Auto Fill" and then select "Password Manager"
  4. In the list of passwords, look for one containing "s8.cesoft" and click the three vertical dots next to it, and clear the saved password
  5. Go back to the login screen for Cutting Edge, and attempt to log in again

Safari

  1. Click on the Safari menu in the top left hand corner next to the Apple symbol
  2. Click on  Settings...
  3. A new dialogue box will open
  4. Click Privacy
  5. Click on the Manage Website Data button
  6. To remove any cached data and cookies from your computer, click Remove all
  7. A new dialogue box will open
  8. Click Remove Now
  9. Wait a few moments, then click Done
  10. Close the dialogue box remaining
  11. Press Command +Q to quit Safari
