Dealing with slow connections

Dealing with slow connections

Our servers run on the fastest available connections in Australia. Slow connections are almost always due to the path between your computer and your modem. Try these steps to troubleshoot your connection.
  1. Check your Wi-fi settings for the signal strength between your modem and computer. If the signal is weak, either due to distance or obstruction between your modem and your PC, you can try to use an Ethernet cable instead to stabilize and improve the connection.
  2. Cutting Edge Software is optimised to work with Google Chrome and Firefox browsers. You can access the software on most browsers, but we do not offer support outside the two previously mentioned, so if you run into issues while using other browsers our first step will be to open the program on one of them.
  3. If the connection becomes unstable or drops, you will see the loading screen (Dots rolling across the bottom of the screen) for an extended period of time. If this persists, try refreshing the browser window, or closing the tab and logging back into the software. If this doesn't work, contact us at support@cesoft.com.au
  4. After printing you may need to use the Refresh or Reload button, depending on how your printer is set up.
