Doctors' Health Fund

Doctors' Health Fund

Doctors' Health Fund cover is usually paid at AHSA rates, with top cover paid at up to ASA/AMA rates. The patient's level of cover can be determined with the Check Eligibility button on the invoice screen. Top Cover Gold pays ASA/AMA rates. Prime Choice Gold and lower schedules pay at AHSA rates.

To calculate the correct fees on your invoice, the software will prompt you to choose a cover level when selecting Doctors' Health Fund as the patient's health fund. If you don't know of the cover level when selecting the fund, you can select either option and run the cover check. Then reset the patient's health fund to 000 Self Funded, then back to the Doctors' Health Fund to once more be prompted to set the cover level. (It's important to choose the right level of cover to ensure you get paid correctly).
