How to stop my contact list from auto-filling when entering patients
Cutting Edge does not have access to your personal Address Book, however depending on your browser settings you may be prompted with a list of names from your Contacts list. This is called Auto Fill.
Try the steps below to turn the browser Auto Fill feature off. Note that this affects all web-based applications, not just Cutting Edge.
Safari (Mac)
In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Settings,
Click AutoFill, then make sure “Using information from my contacts” is not selected.
Chrome
Click the Chrome menu icon. (Three dots at top right of screen.)
Click on Settings and select the "Autofill" section, then "Addresses and more"
Click "Disable". Chrome will automatically save your settings.
Firefox
Click on the Firefox menu icon. (Three lines at top right of screen.)
Click on "Settings."
Choose "Privacy & Security."
In the "Forms and Autofill" section uncheck the options for which you wish to disable Autofill. Firefox will automatically save your settings.
