Integrated Payment Portal - WorldPay

Cutting Edge has partnered with Worldpay to create a payment service that is fully integrated into the software, with very favourable rates. There are no setup or monthly fees when using this integrated service. You can easily sign up from your Settings page, and once the account is reviewed and activated you will have access to a secure on-screen payments page for credit card transactions. You can also send links to your patients by email, PDF or SMS to direct them to make payment by credit or debit card, BPay, or direct debit. All payments reconcile directly to the correct invoice in Cutting Edge, the patient can also request a receipt (There is a setting in the providers settings page to determine what kind of receipt is issued) at this stage so there is no need for you to enter a payment manually.




Fees
We've kept the fees simple.
  1. There are no setup or minimum monthly fees, making it affordable even if you only take card payments occasionally.
  2. For Visa and MasterCard the fees are 1.75% plus 33c per transaction
  3. For AMEX the fees are 1.76% plus 33c per transaction, this option will only appear on your invoice if you have requested this via Worldpay. A transaction % will be recorded in CE>Settings>Card Payments>Worldpay Payment Service Setup . If you would like this removed as an option, you will need to email Worldpay directly to request this. 
  4. For International cards the fees are higher, typically an additional 1.1% - however until the transaction is processed we don't know the origin of the card, so actual fees may be higher than those estimated on the screen.
  5. For BPay from a bank account the fees are $1.25 per transaction. BPay from credit card accounts incur an additional 1.1% fee. 
  6. For direct debits the fees are 50c per transaction
  7. Refunds and Chargebacks incur an additional 33c fee on top of the original merchant fees.
All fees are inclusive of GST.

You can elect to absorb most merchant fees yourself (these will be debited from your nominated bank account) or pass on the fees to the patient.
Please note that BPay charges can't be passed on to the patient.
