How to get set up for electronic prescribing

Getting set up for electronic prescribing is straight-forward, but requires a few steps to comply with legislation, authentication and security. The CESoft support team can assist you getting set up.
  1. Contact us at support@cesoft.com.au and request access to eScripts.

  2. Once we have activated eScripts in your CESoft account, you will see a new eScripts tab in your Settings panel. At a minimum we require your
    1. name,
    2. qualifications,
    3. date of birth,
    4. sex,
    5. prescriber number.

  3. We require your Individual Healthcare Provider Identifier (HPI-I) from the Health Identifiers service, but should be able to look that up for you.

  4. You will need an Organisation Healthcare Provider Identifier (HPI-O) from the Health Identifiers service.

  5. Once you have your HPI-O and have set it up in PRODA, you're ready to proceed!
