Some patient emails sent from CESOFT are going to SPAM or getting rejected

When using the "Send Email" function from CESoft, you may notice that some of your outbound emails to patients are ending up in their spam folder, or the mail gets rejected with a Subject line "Subject: complaint about message from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

The reason for this is some email service providers (particularly Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, iCloud and Outlook) flag these emails, which are being routed through Amazon's Simple Email Service, as spam.

To address this issue, we have implemented a system where we can route your emails from our private Doctorbill.com.au email domain, which other email services see as highly trusted. This is a free service, there's no additional charge.

To enable this function, please send an email to support@cesoft.com.au enquiring about the Doctorbill email domain name, specify what you would like your email to appear as (example@doctorbill.com.au) and we'll get right on it. Once set up, emails sent from CE will have a FROM address of eg DrZacharySmith@doctorbill.com.au and a REPLY TO address with your usual email. All responses to emails sent from CE always go directly to your inbox, not back to the software.

If you already have a private domain for emails and require assistance, please get in touch via our support portal and we can discuss the available options.
