Some patient emails sent from CESOFT are going to SPAM or getting rejected

When sending emails from CESoft, you may notice that some of your outbound emails are ending up in their spam folder, or getting rejected with a Subject line "Subject: Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" or "Subject: complaint about message from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

The reason for this is some email services (particularly Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, iCloud and Outlook) don't like these emails because they have come from our server which has a different domain name to your email address.

To address this issue, we have implemented a service where we allocate you an email on our private Doctorbill.com.au email domain. Because we own that domain, it gets a better trust ranking with other email services. This is a free service, there's no additional charge.

To setup a Doctorbill email address, please contact us at support@cesoft.com.au and specify what you would like your email to appear as (justin.example@doctorbill.com.au). Once set up, any emails you send from CE will have a FROM address of eg justin.example@doctorbill.com.au and a REPLY TO address with your usual email. All responses to emails sent from CE always go directly to your inbox, not back to the software.

If you already have a private domain for emails (i.e. one that you own and control) we may be able to add this to ourt list of trusted addresses, please get in touch via our support portal and we can discuss the available options.
