Why won't links open on an Android device
If you find that links sent from Cutting Edge by SMS or email cannnot be opened on an Android device, this is probably due to the settings on the device and not an issue that can be fixed from the Cutting Edge side.
We suggest these steps
Check the Opening link defaults
- Open Settings.
- Choose Apps & notifications.
- Select Default apps.
- Choose Opening links.
- Make sure that the app at hand is allowed to open associated links.
Disable Adblocker
Adblocker settings on the Android may prevent links from being opened.
Update or reinstall Android System WebView
WebView allows apps to open links in a browser. If it doesn’t work properly, links won’t open. Reinstalling from Play Store may help.
