Allowing pop-up windows from CE8

Allowing pop-up windows from CE8

Safari

When using the Safari web browser on Mac OS, then it will block pop ups by default, which will keep any printed documents from appearing by default.

Opening a Pop-Up Document

When CE8 opens a printed document, then you will see the following icon in the address bar highlighted in the red circle:

If you click on this icon, it will open up the document.

Updating Safari to Allow CE8 to Open Documents Automatically

From the window menu at the top of the screen, go into the Safari -> Preferences
Choose the Websites tab to display the following:

This will list the address s8.cesoft.com.au after you have already visited the site and tried to open a document.  In order to allow CE8 to display documents without any intervention, then select Allow.

All the documents you open will now appear in a separate tab.

Chrome

Chrome will also block pop-ups by default

If Chrome is blocking pop-ups, you'll see a symbol in the top right of your screen, on the right end of your address bar in the red square shown above. Simply click the icon and then click "Allow pop-ups on this site".

Mozilla Firefox

To allow pop-ups on firefox, first click the stacked lines icon in the top right of the browser window and select "Settings" from the drop-down menu

Next, click on "Privacy and Security" from the row of options on the left

Then, scroll down to "Permissions" and click the "Exceptions" button next to "Block pop-up windows"

In the window that opens, type in this address - "https://s8.cesoft.com.au"

Click Save Changes and pop-ups should now be working for CESoft in Firefox
