Nerve block items that require targeted percutaneous approach
There are several regional nerve block items that only attract a rebate in certain circumstances if you use a targeted percutaneous approach (TPA) to perform the block.
When performed in association with procedures from MBS group T8 (items in the range 3xxxx to 511xx) you may find that they are more likely to get paid if they are on an invoice by themselves, with "TPA" added in the Extra Details tab.
